Do I need to start with the Foundations Assessment or can I go straight to implementation?

You can go straight to implementation if your team already has a clear, current picture of your platform maturity and your priority areas are agreed. The Foundations Assessment is most valuable when leadership needs an independent baseline, when there is disagreement about where to invest first, or when you need a business case that justifies the next engagement to a director-level budget holder.

How are Clouditive's engagements scoped and priced?

Each engagement pattern is scoped to a defined phase range (for example, six to nine months for Foundations Build) and priced for director-level approval without a lengthy procurement cycle. Pricing is fixed-scope, not open-ended retainer. The scope is defined during a strategy call and documented before the engagement starts. Embedded Engineering is the exception, which is an ongoing monthly arrangement.

Does Clouditive work with companies outside the United States?

Yes. Clouditive is incorporated in St. Petersburg, FL with a LATAM delivery hub in Punta del Este, Uruguay. Engagements run across North America, Latin America, Europe, and Asia Pacific. Engineers are based in Uruguay and overlap with US East and Central time zones. All delivery is in English.

What happens after an engagement ends?

Every engagement is designed to close with your team owning the artifacts: IaC module libraries, runbooks, ADRs, golden path templates, and dashboards. The Sustain retainer is an optional continuation available after any build engagement for teams that want ongoing reliability reviews, chaos experiments, or maturity pulse reports. The goal is reduced dependency on Clouditive over time, not extended dependency.
